Brocoded/AI coding agents on your phone

Control AI coding agents from your phone

Agents work for minutes or hours and stop to ask. Brocoded puts the session, the question and the answer on your phone, so a run never waits on you at the wrong desk.

01 / why

An agent that waits is an agent that is not working.

A coding agent asks before it runs a command or edits a file. If you walked away, it sits on that question until you come back. The longer the task, the more this costs.

Remote control fixes the part that needs a person. The agent stays on your computer with your files and tools. You only carry the decisions with you.

02 / what you can do

Monitor, answer and ship from the phone.

Monitor sessions remotely

Open any running session to see the live terminal. A key bar gives you Esc, Tab, Ctrl and arrows, and a compose sheet handles longer messages.

Get a notification

Turn on alerts and your phone tells you when a session needs you. The alert holds no code, only a short fixed message.

Approve or deny actions

The Inbox shows the full command or edit the agent wants to run. Approve it or deny it. Questions can be answered there too, where the agent supports them.

Start or continue work

Start a new session in a folder, or continue an earlier Claude Code or Codex conversation in the same folder.

Review and ship

See a read-only git diff, then stage, commit and push without going back to the desk.

Cut a device off

Lost a phone? Remove it from Devices on your computer and it is disconnected straight away.

03 / how it stays safe

Remote does not mean exposed.

Your computer connects out to a relay, and so does your phone. There is no open port on your computer and nothing to set up on your router. Keys are made on your two devices when you pair, and the private halves never leave them.

The relay only forwards encrypted data. It can see when you connect and how large messages are, not what is in them. Read the details on the security page.

04 / which agents

Works with the agent you already run.

05 / get started

Three steps.

  1. 01
Install Brocoded on your computer. Mac and Windows are supported. The docs have the command and the installer.
  2. 02
Pair your phone. Scan a QR code shown on the computer. iPhone uses the Home Screen web app and Android uses an .apk, from the downloads page.
  3. 03
Start your agent. Open a session from the phone, or start the agent the way you already do.
questions

Quick answers.

Does the agent run on my phone?

No. The agent keeps running in a terminal on your computer. Your phone is a remote control: it shows the session, carries your answers back and shows git changes. The computer has to be on, awake and online.

Do I need a VPN, SSH or port forwarding?

No. Your phone and computer both connect out to a relay, so they do not need to be on the same network. The relay forwards encrypted data it cannot read.

Which AI coding agents can I control remotely?

Claude Code and Codex are supported. Antigravity CLI has early support. Any other command-line program runs as a plain terminal session without approval cards. The agents page has the full comparison.

What happens if I answer at my computer instead?

Both screens show the request. The first answer wins and the other side is told, so you never answer twice.

Will the alert show my code?

No. An alert is a push with a fixed message such as “A session needs you”. You open the app to see the request.
