Q: Do I need to change how I run Claude Code?

No. Start claude the way you already do. For a run Brocoded starts, it adds its own reporting. For chats you start yourself, it uses Claude Code’s hooks, which you can turn on or off.

Start a long Claude Code task, walk away, and answer its approval requests and questions from your phone. Claude Code has the most complete support in Brocoded.

01 / set up

Four steps, about five minutes.

Install Brocoded on your computer. On a Mac, paste this in Terminal. On Windows use the installer from the downloads page.

Check that Claude Code runs. In a terminal, claude should start normally. Brocoded works with the copy you already have.

Pair your phone. Choose Pair a phone on the computer, then scan the QR code with the phone. The code works once and lasts 5 minutes.

Open a Claude Code session. Start a new one in a folder from the phone, continue an earlier conversation in that folder, or turn on the option that brings in chats you start in your own terminal.

What to know before you rely on it.

Computer onClaude Code runs on your computer. It must be on, awake and online. Brocoded cannot reach a sleeping machine.
Your own terminalChats you start yourself appear in the phone app only if you turn on that option.
AlertsA push holds only a fixed message. Open the app to see the request. On iPhone, open Brocoded from its Home Screen icon first.
PlatformsComputers: Mac and Windows. Phones: iPhone, iPad and Android. Linux is not supported yet.

Can I answer Claude Code’s questions from my phone?

Yes. When Claude Code asks a question, the Inbox shows it and your answer goes back to the session.

Can I approve from my phone and my computer?

Yes. Both show the request. The first answer wins and the other side is told.

Does Brocoded send my code to its servers?

No. Session data is end-to-end encrypted between your phone and your computer. The relay forwards it without being able to read it.
