Is it private?

Everything about a session is end-to-end encrypted between your phone and your computer. The relay in between cannot read terminal content, commands, files or conversations; it sees connection times and message sizes. The encryption design has not had an external cryptography review yet, and we say so plainly.

Will my agent keep running if I close the laptop lid?

A sleeping computer cannot run anything. Keep it plugged in and awake for long tasks. The Brocoded Mac app reconnects on its own after the computer wakes or the network changes.
